Overview
Located in Cypress County, Alberta, Jurassic BESS is an 80 MW/ 160 MWh battery energy storage project featuring 39 battery packs and 19 transformers. Once complete, the project will support critical grid reliability and stability to help alleviate congestion and support further integration of renewable energy resources and will be one of Alberta’s largest lithium-ion energy storage installations.
