Overview
Abitibi Solar is a 10 MW ground-mounted photovoltaic facility located in Cochrane, Ontario. Commissioned in 2015, it spans 40 hectares with up to 55,000 solar panels, contributing to Ontario’s renewable energy supply. The Abitibi facility benefits from a 20-year power purchase agreement with the Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO).
